Ultimate goes QT
by Martin Frederiksen
This QuickTime-movie is made out of video-clips from an educational video made by me for the Danish schools. In 1994, we have had tremendous succes in the schools, and 1995 starts out with the first national ultimate tournament for the Gymnasium-schools (11.-13. grade).
In cooperation with World Flying Disc Federation, Discraft, Dansk Frisbee Sports Union, and the Finnish Flying Disc Federation, I work on a new video: ULTIMATE TACTICS.
In two videos Timo Vaskio from the Finnish national team will share his knowledge of ultimate tactics to the ultimate community. The production has begun, and the action will be shot at either the World Club Championships or the European Championships during the summer of 1995.
The ULTIMATE TACTICS videos will be available from supporting associations in December 1995. See them before your opponent does!

TECH NOTES
To run the movie, you need QuickTime installed. The movie can be seen with MoviePlayer 2.0 or another QuickTime viewer. I haven't tested the movie on different machines - so if it doesn't run smooth, get a bigger Mac :-)
So much for Martin's ReadMe, here are some comments of mine before you start:
- this movie file is 3 MB ! I would never recommend to download it through a slow line ...
- the movie is not in MPEG format, i.e. there is no need to download it unless you are certain you have a QuickTime movie player ! (I tried to convert it to MPEG but I didn't like the results; perhaps I don't have the right software ?)
- I had to convert it to a more general version of QuickTime and in this process a couple of frames got messed up (about in the middle of the movie). I did not find a way to fix this (yet ?)
- the movie is about 45 secs long and has a sound track
